Scene 1: Industrial Management

Mr. David (CEO, famous FMCG organization) is going to review corporate strategy group meeting to check readiness for production of new product. In earlier meeting, he has taken review of the following reports prepared by subject experts:

·        Market Analysis and potential

·        Economic Analysis and budget 

·        Personnel relocation

·        Environmental norms

·        Product testing

·        Marketing strategy and budget.

Scene 2: Time Management

  •  Mr. Joseph is completing an important office task on Saturday evening on deadline and after half an hour, will go to meet his friend for strategic alliance meeting.
  • Miss Anaya has taken time from her busy schedule to complete her business  work.
  • Luv has prepared his time schedule for #Exam #preparation. He divided number of the available days by #subject numbers and reserve few days for revision or left out chapters. Accordingly, he studied and confirmed his #selection with good marks

Scene 3: Material Management

Ms. Kristina is desperately waiting for her daughter who is coming from abroad after completing her higher studies. Ms. Kristina taken time from busy corporate schedule and  has prepared delicious food of daughter's choice, and decorated house for her warm welcome.

Description of Scenes:

From the above three scenes, it is clear that the lead person is very much aware about the task, deadline, available resources (raw material, personnel, infrastructure, market need), environmental norms and  budget. He/She is doing management  to complete the  task with in time.

Management:

Management is process of obtaining the desired results, by planning, setting proper strategy, aligning the available resources (for common objective), monitoring and controlling. In the whole process timeframe, environmental norms and financial boundaries play critical role and are important factors for successful completion of task.

Management is not only thinks about to perform task on time but  also think about  healthy work environment, physical and mental growth of employees, skill development and value addition. Mgmt official wants that employees enjoy their work and create a learning environment and culture where each one is learning new skills, new practices, quality techniques, 5S system, with each other or external faculty without disturbing the global environment.
